It's Xavier Tillman Jersey the final weekend of the regular season in the Big 12 conference, and TCU has firmly secured their top spot in the rankings. But even with some big wins last week, it's still a jumbled me s below them. There is a small amount of separation, but not much.So as Big 12 action for Week 12 gets underway let's get into this week's snapshot of the conference.A quick reminder on how I intend to do this power ranking. It is NOT just going to be restating the standings. It is entirely po sible that a team that has a worse record lands higher on the list, especially if they are playing really well as of late. Similarly, it is also not going to be a "who's hottest" list. Instead, it will be a subjective mix of which team is playing better and which team I think IS better, with a tiebreaker going to teams that have significantly outperformed my expectations.Previous Power Rankings:So with that, here are the Blue Wings Rising Big 12 Football Power Rankings after Week 12:Last Week:29-28 W at BaylorThis Week: vs Iowa State (4-7, 1-7 Big 12)They escaped with a win on a scramble drill field goal as time expired. It was the first really close call of the season for them, and it was in a rivalry game, so you can excuse it just a bit.Last Week:48-31 W at West VirginiaThis Week:vs Kansas (6-5, 3-5 Big 12)They gave up more points in the first half than I expected them to the entire game, so there is some hope for the Jayhawks looking to score. But this team did plenty to win this game easily, and Grady Jarrett Jersey Will Howard has the offense rejuvenated in a way that I haven't seen from Adrian Martinez this season.Last Week: 55-14 W at KansasThis Week:vs Baylor (6-5, 4-4 Big 12)Bijan Robinson is an absolute beast. That's it. Texas is finally playing the way that you would expect this team to play, especially when they have a significant talent advantage. Kansas stood no chance against the rushing attack of the Longhorns, but that was a know i sue with the Kansas defense. Can they continue to run this well against Baylor to give themselves a chance to make the Big 12 Championship game?Last Week: 29-28 L vs #4 TCUThis Week:at #23 Texas (7-4, 5-3 Big 12)They did it again. Almost pulling off the upset win against TCU was not was I was expecting in this game. And it's a bit weird moving them up with a win, but that was a very impre sive performance. Blake Shapen has settled in, but it's really the Baylor defense that is giving them opportunities.Last Week: 14-10 W Mckenzie Milton Jersey at Iowa StateThis Week: vs Oklahoma (6-5, 3-5 Big 12)It was a VERY ugly win, which is definitely something that Iowa State will do to you. But there are some real questions about how good this team actually is. They qualified for a bowl, which is huge under first year coach Joey McGuire, but they have gotten a it of luck along the way.Last Week: 28-13 W vs #22 Oklahoma StateThis Week: at Texas Tech (6-5, 4-4 Big 12)Oklahoma is rounding into form going into the end of the season, but they will need to go on the road to take on a Texas Tech team that has looked every bit as game as them the last few weeks. The defense has played much better, but the offense completely disappeared after the first quarter against Oklahoma State. They can't have that happen again.Last Week: 28-13 L at OklahomaThis Week: vs West Virginia (4-7, 2-6 Big 12)Bedlam was once again non-competitive, and it's baffling. This is the weakest that an Oklahoma team has been in recent memory, and Oklahoma State couldn't even keep it close, letting Oklahoma jump out to a 28-0 lead and cruise the rest of the game.Last Week: 55-14 L vs TexasThis Week: at #12 Kansas State (8-3, 6-2 Big 12)Jalon Daniels returned, but it was evident that he was rusty. But the real i sue Rob Edwards Jersey for Kansas has been that rushing defense, which went from a mild concern to a huge i sue over the course of just a few weeks. And next up is Deuce Vaughn and the Kansas State Wildcats, which could make this one ugly.Last Week:14-10 L vs Texas TechThis Week: at #4 TCU (11-0, Matt Kennedy Jersey 8-0 Big 12)It will take a Herculean effort for the Cyclones to win this week, especially after the dud they played against Texas Tech. The defense once again held a decent offense in check, but the offense couldn't do anything at all in this game until it was too late.Last Week:48-31 L at #15 Kansas StateThis Week:at Oklahoma State (7-4, 4-4 Big 12)West Virginia had some life in this one, turning what was expected to be a blowout or defensive struggle into a shootout in the first half. The problem was that they couldn't use that to their advantage, and they let Kansas State score at will in the first half. They can get some good vibes heading into the offseason with a win, but the season has been very disappointing. .
