You Are Building Your ‘Diablo 4’ Defense Perks All Wrong

I recently overcame my biggest hurdle in buy diablo 4 gold, the capstone boss Elias who had been gatekeeping my access into World Tier 4. I thought I was going to have to respec my entire not-meta build to get by him, but rather, I spent each day powering up a little and tweaking items to beat him my second do this time. Part of which was bigger damage, but an enormous part was being in a position to survive.

Diablo 4

There are lots of, a lot of things that Diablo 4 doesn't make apparent hanging around, also it takes a large amount of outside study to completely gauge what’s happening with some of those damage and defense values. I was pointed for an incredibly good video by Wudijo, among the world’s top hardcore players, where survivability may be the name of the game. I wanted to talk about both the video and also the highlights of his insights along with you, which ought to really help you survive the larger levels of the game. And maybe beat Elias, too.

Elemental Resistances are nearly too useless – Because from the way scaling works in buy diablo 4 items, you essentially never want dedicated elemental resists in support of other defensive stats, and they're essentially a wasted slot inside your armor or jewelry. Scaling of these drops way, way off when compared with the armor of harm reduction. While I get you some fire resists for Elias and the irritating flaming skulls specifically, in additional general content you don't want this as a priority.

Damage Resist – More or less the most crucial defensive stat hanging around. Overall damage reduction is hugely important, and when you get something similar to 20-30% damage reduction from Close enemies, as the audio says, that’s practically a legendary affix alone.

Armor – Also hugely important. Shown off within the video are among the best defensive perks hanging around where dealing damage can improve your armor by as much as 50%. I believe this usually (only?) rolls on helmets, also it’s that which you’ll want there above most anything else besides uh, Shako.

+ Life – Life % isn't as good as just adding life values for your total. At higher levels, you are able to almost double your life total with just several gear items.

Topaz Armor Gems – This is a reduction against damage while crowd-controlled, in which the vast majority of death happens. At the highest gem level, you are able to get a 50% damage reduction here.

Sapphire Armor Gems – This is damage reduction while Fortified is only applicable to particular builds, like mine, where now I have a 30% damage reduction while Fortified thanks partly to these gems.

Skull Jewelry Gems – Again, you don't want any from the elemental resists as gems in here beyond extremely select circumstances. Skulls provide you with armor, and that’s what you would like here.

Again, wudijo’s advice here's from the hardcore perspective where surviving is everything, however, it is applicable for anybody who hits Elias and would go to World Tier 4 after that, as enemies are likely to start hitting hard. This isn’t to say you are able to still do lots of harm, however, you really need to prioritize, or not-prioritize, what’s in the above list.
